organized a Seminar on 13th September 2014 at Hotel Landmark, Kanpur on “Savings in construction costs by use of Fe 500, Fe 550 and Fe 600 grade of TMT steel bars“. Distinguished Architects, Structural Engineers, Builders, Developers, Contractors, etc., related to the construction steel industry of Kanpur, participated in this Seminar.
Dr. Sunil Kumar, Professor Civil Engineering Department, HBTI, Kanpur, who specializes in Structural design and Engineering and has authored more than 50 research papers in National and International Journals, was the keynote speaker at the event. He stressed the use of high-grade TMT Bars in accordance with IS: 1786, IS: 456, and IS 13920 to achieve savings and reduction in steel consumption in construction.
